We are excited and proud to announce that Mr Brad Minchin, our Head of the Arts and Media Teacher has been appointed as Co-chair of Australian Teachers of Media National! This new role will see Mr Minchin step up from Chair of WA, which he has held since 2013, to coordinate and support all state chapters.
ATOM National is the national governing body of the various ATOM chapters around Australia and Western Australia’s primary media teacher education support provider. With statewide perspectives, they also assist with exam support and provide media-related professional learning.
In addition to this role, Brad has also been offered a seat on the board of the National Advocates for Arts Education Alliance (NAAE), specifically representing media education. The NAAE are also strong advocates for Arts education Australia-wide.
Brad is thrilled to be part of this prestigious leadership team and is looking forward to learning from some incredible leaders in the Arts, and most importantly, advocating for media teachers around Australia.
