Guildford Grammar School Foundation

Foundation Objective

“To establish, manage and grow an endowment fund that provides greater independence and financial resources for Guildford Grammar School which can be utilised in a wide range of activities to assist in the development of a School of the highest quality, consistent with its purpose.”

The Guildford Grammar School Foundation was created in 1974 to help guarantee the financial independence of the School and to further develop its standing as one of the foremost educational institutions in the country.

Since then the Board have successfully built a substantial, self-perpetuating capital fund invested in blue chip investments with capital appreciation objectives.

Currently, a portion of the income generated from the Foundation's assets funds a Scholarship program and has supported several significant building developments in the portfolio of the School’s Master Plan.

Since the establishment of the Foundation it has worked diligently to build a solid corpus of funds by attracting and retaining the continuing interest and financial support of Old Guildfordians, parents and friends and the wider School community.
