Our Outdoor Education Program includes compulsory camps for students in Years 7-9, academic camps in Year 12 and numerous voluntary expeditions and trips throughout the year.  Interstate and overseas tours are also becoming regular features in the School calendar. Many of our camps are held at our own stunning campsite on the Avon River, Stronghills.

We encourage all students to seek a full and rich educational experience, pursuing a wide range of activities in order to unearth every child’s unique passions and talents. Some current co-curricular options for Senior School students include Art, Cadets, Contemporary Dance, Cooking, Debating, Drama, Mock Trials, Music, Public Speaking.

Our music program is the most vibrant and varied in the State, with 23 Senior School music ensembles and 11 Preparatory School ensembles.

Our media program is regularly recognised as being innovative and successful, with Year 12 student productions regularly selected for the yearly state-wide Media Perspectives cinema screenings. In recent years many of our media students have received university scholarships around Australia to study film-making.

A full calendar of music, drama and performance events provide countless opportunties for students to perform in front of an audience and gain real-life performance skills.

As a founding member of the century old Public Schools' Association (PSA) we expect a full commitment to our Inter-school Sport Program.  We are well served by the Cecil Oliverson Gymnasium, incorporating full sized indoor basketball court and fitness centre.

In addition, we enjoy the privilege of the H C Small Boatshed for rowing, a swimming pool and numerous outdoor fields catering for football, rugby, soccer, cricket, tennis, hockey and athletics.  Saturday sport is compulsory for all Senior School students.

Senior School boys can currently participate in athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, football, hockey, rowing, rugby, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo and equestrian.

Senior School girls can currently participate in cricket, netball, basketball, rowing, cross country, triathlon, surfing, AFL, hockey, equestian and volleyball.
