Guildford Grammar School is excited to introduce Bush Playgroup, an immersive, nature-based program designed for children aged 0 to 3 years. On the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River), this program offers little learners the opportunity to explore, play and discover the wonders of the natural world in a calming outdoor setting. Through sensory activities, creative play and guided exploration, your child will develop essential skills while forming a deep connection with nature.

Registration and Fees
  • Fee: $330 per term
  • Maximum enrolments: 18 families per term
  • Registration required for all attending adults and children (max of 5 people per family booking)
  • Booking restrictions: Students currently enrolled in a Guildford Grammar School program, such as Little Explorers, are not eligible for registration.
  • Refunds: Not permitted for missed sessions or change of mind.
Important Information for Parents/Guardians
  • Supervision: Parents/guardians must remain on campus with their child for the duration of the session.
  • Weather: Sessions proceed in all weather conditions except in the case of lightning, in which case the session will be rescheduled.
  • Medical & Safety:
    • Parents/guardians are responsible for managing diagnosed medical concerns.
    • Minor ailments (cuts, insect bites, bruises) can be managed by a Guildford Grammar School staff member carrying a First Aid Kit.
    • Emergency medical support is available at the onsite Medical Centre.
  • Outdoor Nature Experience:
    • Children will be encouraged to get wet and muddy – please dress accordingly.
    • Families are expected to respect the natural environment and ‘leave no trace.’
