The role of Council
The School Council’s role is to govern the School, while the function of the Principal and Senior Management is to manage the organisation in accordance with the policies and directions of the School Council. The School Council and the Principal work in partnership to achieve the Purpose of the School.

Areas of speciality: The role of the Principal, governance, management and operation of schools, culture building, managing staff, pastoral care.

The Reverend Canon Dr Philip Raymont

Experience: Priest-in-Charge, Former Senior Chaplain and of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at Guildford Grammar School, Deputy Head and Head of Residential Colleges in Australian universities, Lecturer.

Peter Law
P&F Representative
Curtin University BA Arts (Journalism)
Experience: More than 20 years of experience as a journalist in Australia and the United Kingdom. Most recently as State Political Editor at The West Australian (November 2019-November 2022) and Chief of Staff of The West Australian and The Sunday Times (2015-2022). Prior to relocating back to Perth in late 2013), held a variety of reporting and news editor roles at regional and national newspapers, including The Times of London. Currently Media Manager at Mineral Resources Limited, a diversified mining company in the ASX50. Responsible for all proactive and reactive media engagement, as well as strategic advice on policy development, external communications, policy development, crisis management, government relations, speechwriting and investor relations.
