Brad Minchin
Brad Minchin
As Head of the Arts Faculty, Brad supports faculty staff with the implementation of their programs, growing the arts from its wonderfully creative and successful foundation into a program that is nationally recognised across the board for excellence. He has been working with faculty staff to identify areas where our courses excel in order to better understand what makes our students engage so passionately with their arts subjects.
Driver by passion, creativity and coffee, Brad has embraced the opportunities he has been given to grow as an educator, as the School has grown and evolved. “Because of the School’s belief in me, I have been able to take on many roles, both within the School and externally, that have helped me to develop as an educator and a member of the wider teaching community.”
“What I like most about the School is the people that make it feel like a community. All the successes we have experienced in the arts are due to our passionate staff who are committed to engagement and creation. This is a wonderful school that provides endless opportunities for our students and staff to create, explore, inform and expand their knowledge base.”
In his spare time Brad constructs building sets that can be used for many activities in the media department, from stop motion animation through to gaming tables for afternoon activities. He also enjoys spending time with his own children, watching films and TV shows, playing the occasional video game and ruthlessly beating Mr Perrin and Miss Rumble at board games!
