Year 12 student Harry Weston has won the major prize at the Bond University Film & Television Awards (BUFTAs), taking home a full scholarship to study a Bachelor of Film and Television valued at $90,000.
Harry was awarded Best Sound, Best Director and Best Film Maker for his movie "Dulce et decorum est, pro patia mori'
which he dedicated to his grandmother, Mary Weston, who died earlier this month.
The BUFTAs is the largest competition of its kind for high school students in Australia and received more than 230 entries this year. Judges selected the top 19 nominees across six categories: animation, comedy, drama, documentary, experimental, and music video.
We are sure we will all be seeing more outstanding productions by Harry in the future!
