The Guildford Grammar School of Music presents Music for Grey Matter: A music teacher PD day, which will be held on Thursday 15 September from 9.00am-3.00pm at the School of Music. This PD is designed for classroom teachers, instrumental teachers, music education students and tertiary music students who want to explore different approaches and pedagogies in the field of music teaching. It is also an opportunity to meet and work with two of Australia's leading music educators. Tickets cost $50 each and can be purchased online by clicking here.
We are proud to announce the formation of the Guildford Grammar Symphony Orchestra (GGSO), under the baton of Mr Jonathan Tooby. This is the first time in over 30 years that the school has formed a symphony orchestra. The Orchestra will perform its début concert on the evening of Thursday 22 September at 7.30pm in the David Lawe Davies Centre.
We are proud to announce that Toby Digney (11Fr) has been selected as the Team Captain for the Olympic Hopefuls in Hungary in the sport of canoeing.
Registrations are now open for Guildford Grammar School's second Excellence in Classroom Teaching Conference, for primary and secondary school teachers in Perth. Last year's conference was a great success, attended by over 100 primary and secondary school teachers from across the state.
