No student drop-off at Junior Boarding House car park

We have seen an increase in the number of parents who are dropping students at school using the car park near the Junior Boarding House. As junior boarders are now back in residence we remind parents that this is not a a drop-off point. Staff will monitor this area in the coming weeks to ensure it is not used as a drop-off point. Students can be dropped off on Allpike Street or at the DLD car park.

Australian Boarding Week Photo Competition

This week we celebrate National Boarding Week and invite all of our boarders and their families to participate in the Australian Boarding Schools Association Photo Competition #Boarding@Home. We are asking our boarding families to email us creative photos from home to share on our social media pages and with the Australian Boarding Schools Association to be in the running to win a $250 JB HiFi voucher. Photos can be emailed to communications@ggs.wa.edu.au before Monday 8 June. Please include your name and a caption for the photo. We look forward to seeing and sharing your photos!

Seeking student news for Forward magazine

Work is underway on the June edition of the Forward magazine and we are seeking student news and achievements from the  start of Term 1. If you have any news you would like to share, please email gillian.macdonald@ggs.wa.edu.au before Wednesday 27 May.

2020 Annual Blanket Appeal

The Guildford Grammar Blanket Appeal is under way again for 2020! The school is collecting handmade knitted, crocheted or sewn blankets for donation to the Swan Alliance Communities for Children. Swan Alliance is a partnership of Anglicare WA, Ngala and Mission Australia, who provide services to families with children 0-12 years. Blankets will collected by mid break in Term 3. Unfortunately we will not be holding our usual Knit and Natter group at the Prep School that usually coincides with the Blanket Appeal. For any queries please contact Father Philip, Nataasha Lethbridge, or Father Barry.
