Our Chamber Strings ensemble performed at the United Nations Association of Western Australia branch delegate dinner last Friday, at the Duxton Hotel, Perth.
The audience included representatives from the State Government, heads of government departments, foreign consuls and leaders of various organisations.
Our students performed beautifully with our esteemed music staff in attendance including Mr Brian Kruger as accompanist, Prep Music Specialist, Mrs Anne-Marie Pigneguy and Conductor, Ms Amelia Peachment.
The United Nations Association of Australia (WA Division) (“UNAAWA”) were blown away by our students’ performance:
“Your students and their teachers have done Guildford Grammar School extremely proud and showcased not just the school, but also all of Perth and Western Australia in an excellent light to a high-level international audience.”
We have nothing but praise for everyone involved in this performance from Guildford Grammar School. We hope the event was enjoyable for the students and teachers and a good experience for them…”
We are immensely proud of our students and grateful for the support of our dedicated staff, whose hard work and commitment made this event a remarkable success. This experience has not only enriched our students learning experience but also strengthened our bond with the wider community.
