Sundowner for families interested in equestrian

All parents and students interested in equestrian as a competitive sport or hobby, or who are simply keen to be involved with the development of equestrian at Guildford Grammar School, are invited to join us for a BBQ Sundowner on Tuesday 6 March at 6.00pm at the Thwaites Centre Courtyard.

This will be an opportunity to meet PollyAnn Huntington, our new Development Coordinator, and discuss the strategic plan being developed to include the broad range of disciplines and target the various levels and abilities of our riders. PollyAnn has recently travelled to England, visiting schools with established equestrian programs and is keen to share her experiences.

On the night we will discuss our existing program and plans for the future of this program; our participation in the 2018 Inter-School Competition - identifying those who are qualified or close to qualifying; plans to introduce and develop teams for polo, polocrosse, and pentathlons in the near future; and the development of our own equestrian facilities.

We would love to hear your feedback and ideas and look forward to meeting more like-minded equestrian enthusiasts!

A sausage sizzle and drinks will be provided. Please register your attendance online at…/Coming-Events/Equestrian-Sundowner before 5.00pm on Friday 2 March.

Inspiring students to achieve personal excellence and to be outstanding citizens who work to create a just, loving and peaceful society.
