Old Guildfordian awarded France's highest award

Old Guildfordian John Lyall (He 32-39) was featured in an article in The Weekend West for being awarded France's highest award, the Legion of Honour, in recognition of his role in the liberation of France during WW II.

The award was presented to Mr Lyall by the Honorary consul for France at a ceremony at the Perth headquarters of the Returned & Services League. The full article is available by clicking here.
