Media boys win in the BUFTA Awards

Benjamin Griggs' comedy, A Day in the Life of a Librarian, won  Best Comedy, Best Screenwriter, Runner up Dean's Choice Award and People's Choice Award and Ben was the recipient of the $90,000 Best Film maker Scholarship.

Alex Berry and William Yagmich were awarded the Best Experimental Film Award for their film Surviving Ophelia.  Alex was also the runner-up in the Scholarship.

This is a phenomenal end to the year for the media students, our congratulations to all involved.

To top off the night, Alex and Ben had the opportunity to have their photo taken with Academy Award winning stop-motion animation writer and director, Ben Elliot, director and creator of the animated movie Harvie Krumpet, and host of the BUFTA Awards.
