Inaugural beach rugby day a success

14 Nov 2013

The young men started off with a warm up swim and a few stretches, then were divided up into teams.  It didn't take long for the boys to adjust to playing in the sand with a jumbo rugby ball.  Each game was followed by a well-deserved swim and the boys enjoyed lunch after the second game, recharging their batteries for the third and final game of the day.

The final game saw the addition of some former rugby greats (parents!) and the two team coaches.

Mr Kent Peter and Mr Spencer Creswell adjudicated the matches and the teams were coached by Luke and Ollie Cook.

The Guildford Grammar School Beach Rugby Shield was presented to the following players, who were deemed best on the day:

James Ford (Year 7)
Chris Peters (Year 7)
James Egglestone (Year 7)
Ethan Peters (Year 6)
